Our suite style cabins are well appointed, roomy and ideal for independent travellers looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. 


Nestled in pine forest and overlooking the stunning vineyards of the Bannockburn Inlet, The Claim is set just 100 metres from the Lake Dunstan and Kawarau Gorge Trail heads.

Architecturally designed studio cabins
Each self-contained unit sleeps two (Queen size) and includes a well-appointed kitchen, ensuite bathroom, and your own bike rack and charging station.

Kōwhai Cabin

With views out towards the sweeping Dunstan Range and Leaning Rock,  Kōwhai Cabin is an inspiring retreat. 

Tōtara Cabin

Providing direct views to the Bannockburn Inlet and wineries, Tōtara Cabin offers a unique and memorable stay. 

Koromiko Cabin

Nestled against native plantings and looking out towards nearby Carrick Winery, Koromiko Cabin is only minutes from the Trail start.

Shuttles on Request

Bike shuttles are available on request to and from Lake Dunstan Trail and other surrounding trails daily (min 2 people). Feel free to get in touch with us  if you would like to enquire about custom shuttle requests for wine experiences, dining, airport shuttles and more.

We are happy to advise on local trails for hiking, trail cycling or mountain biking, as well as the many world class wineries our area offers for wine tasting and local food.
